Create Subscription

The Create SubscriptionClosed A billing entity that incurs a charge. Examples include a network attached device whose usage you want to measure and charge for, or a monthly software subscription bulk action allows you to create a collection of subscriptions that can be used as template subscriptions.

Ensure you have the appropriate access rights for this bulk action to appear in the available options.

The following steps describe how to create a Subscription bulk action.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have downloaded the Create Subscription Excel Template, and populated it with the data for the new subscriptions you want to create.

  1. From the CMPClosed Converged Monetisation Platform. The MDS Global product that supports customer care and billing for digital service providers. Bulk Action menu on the left-hand side, expand Bulk Actions and select Create Subscription.

  2. Select a Price Plan from the drop-down list.
  3. Enter a Connection Date.

  4. Click Next.

  5. In the screen, enter a Notification Email and a Label.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the next Create Subscription screen, you can select and upload the Excel template with the details of the subscriptions to which the Workflow Event bulk action will apply.

  8. Click Browse, then navigate to and select the Excel file to upload.

    The name of file is displayed in the File Name field.

  9. The new bulk action has been created with a status of Not Confirmed. To initiate the action, click Confirm.

    You are taken to the Previous Bulk Actions screen where the new bulk action now appears.
